Founded Eyes for the World in 2006, a global non-profit delivering vision care to underserved communities, and went on to lead a consumer e-commerce business to a $100M exit in 2021. Jessy now channels that clinical insight and operator instinct into Essence Health — building the patient-owned health infrastructure layer he wished every one of his patients had access to. He leads product vision, fundraising, and the company’s clinical and global expansion strategy.

A senior engineering leader with deep experience architecting large-scale, secure data systems. At Essence Health, Vikash leads the engineering organization and is the architect of the AI interoperability engine that normalizes FHIR, HL7, PDFs, and image-based records into a single patient-owned health profile. He owns the company’s technical roadmap, security and compliance posture (HIPAA in the U.S., DPDP in India), and the production AI stack — including the Doctor AI assistant and real-time visit transcription. His focus is making world-class clinical infrastructure feel as simple as a consumer app.

Harv Phandal is a strategic executive leader and change agent with over two decades of senior leadership across human resources, corporate governance, IT transformation, and risk management, having held senior roles at Pivotal Software, PeopleSoft, Cognos, Telus, and Oracle. She brings deep expertise in scaling organizations through complex change — a perspective she applies directly to Essence Health’s mission of putting health records in the hands of patients across borders. Her community leadership includes Board Governor at Emily Carr University of Art + Design, Board Director of the Elizabeth Fry Society of Greater Vancouver, and committee chair roles at Surrey Memorial Hospital and Canuck Place. An entrepreneur who has built and scaled a self-sustaining multi-unit real estate portfolio in Vancouver, Harv holds an MBA in Human Resource Management from Royal Roads University and the CHRP designation from HRABC.

A member of MNP’s Assurance and Accounting Services team in Vancouver with more than a decade of experience as a dedicated partner and business advisor. Provides audit, review, other assurance and financial advisory services to public and going-public companies, private enterprises, and not-for-profits across technology, bioscience, manufacturing, consumer markets, real estate and construction, marine, aquaculture, and mining. Holds a BA in Education (Fujian Normal University), an MA in Comparative Literature (Beijing Normal University), and a DAP from the University of British Columbia. CPA, qualifying as a CA in 2016. Serves on the board of the BC Cultural Diversity Association. Fluent in Mandarin, Hokkien, and English.

A Fortune 500 technology executive and former CTO of Electronic Arts, Marija brings 21 years of global leadership to Essence Health’s board. Over her career at EA she led worldwide technology teams. Trained at Stanford GSB and recognized with the Women in Technology Award, she currently advises Sapient Technology Inc. and Yocale.ai, and serves on the Fast Company Impact Council.

With over 10+ years of executive leadership experience in startups and scaleups, $1.5B in revenue generated, $85M in VC raised, and 1 IPO, Arvind Sangha passionately believes in the transformative nature of technology companies. He will be spearheading global growth strategy, partnership development, and user acquisition across key markets to drive scalable revenue expansion.
